Melissa and Zach’s wedding

I walked into Melissa’s house, saw the grand piano, and immediately knew where I was going to do some portraits first!

She was ready to party!

The kids loved the ice sculpture!

Joelle and Mark’s wedding

What a beautiful day with Joelle and Mark!

They had their ceremony at the historic Old St Pat’s cathedral. I loved their sweet looks at each other.

Mark checking out his new ring.

I love getting to play with an awesome car!

We headed to the Chicago History Museum for their cocktail hour and reception; I love this place!

I had some fun playing with the flowers there.

You know it’s going to be a good party when a limbo pole (or scarf, in this case) is brought out

Anjlee and Ronak’s wedding

I just love the excitement, color, busyness, and fun of Indian weddings!

Ronak’s parents… they were having a blast!

This little boy was very curious about the ceremony he was about to walk in to

Apparently he was told to wait too long, so he had to amuse himself 🙂

There were tons of great moments during the ceremony

Stefanie and Jason’s wedding

Stefanie and Jason had a beautiful outdoor wedding at Galleria Marchetti. This was my first time shooting here and it was a great location!

I first met up with Stefanie and her ladies at the Palmer House downtown

Seriously, how cute are these two?!

A sweet father-daughter moment

This little one was quite energetic!

Beth and Jim’s wedding

I spent a beautiful day in Stillwater, MN for Beth and Jim’s wedding. Everyone was so much fun! We started at the lovely Trellis Wedding Ceremonies, hit the town for portraits, then over to The Grand for their reception.

Beth was all smiles all day!

Rosalyn and John’s wedding

Roz and John had a beautiful wedding in downtown Chicago! We started at the University Club for some portraits, headed out into downtown for more portraits, Old St. Pat’s for the ceremony, then returned to the University Club for their reception. Many thanks to my lovely second photographer for the day, Shay Feeney.

I adored Roz’s blue bow on her gown.

On her way to see John!

What the guys were up to as the ladies were getting ready

Roz and John decided to see each other prior to the ceremony, which is always fun as they have some time to really enjoy each other’s company.

Every couple needs a portrait with a bear, right?

A good looking bunch!

One of my favorites locations to hit downtown

We were granted access to a tiny room above the main reception room for some photos

Elizabeth and Jason’s wedding

What an amazing and heartfelt wedding! I just adored working with Elizabeth and Jason all day. We were at the First Unitarian Church in Hyde Park for both the ceremony and reception.

Very cool origami at the church

I love her expression here!

Elizabeth’s first moment seeing herself as a bride!

Such a proud dad

And such an adoring and loving husband (to be)

The wedding party was lots of fun. Not too many serious moments with them!

For some reason they started making zombie movements

The blessing before dinner

I loved her awesome colorful flowers

They had a few cakes at the reception made by friends. This one was Dungeons and Dragons themed.

Jason wanted to honor his parents and invited them up for a special dance

Many more photos in the slideshow!

Audrey and Dan’s wedding

Fabulous day for the wedding of Audrey and Dan!

I loved the detail of Audrey’s flower on her dress

Their First Look

We stopped in at Lizzie McNeill’s for a few portraits (and a little break from the hot sun)

Dan did a cute little dance as Audrey’s father escorted her to the altar

I just loved this girl’s expression

Awesome detail on their cake

They certainly know how to make an entrance!

Francine and Joe’s wedding

Francine and Joe lucked out with a gorgeous day for their wedding at the beautiful Shadowbrook in New Jersey. I’ve known Francine for almost 14 years, and it was wonderful to see her so happy and radiant all day. Congratulations you two!

Joe made a special request for a portrait in the bar, so I was happy to oblige

I love their emotion in this one

Gorgeous ceremony location!

Husband and wife!

I loved the details of the lemons in the centerpieces

Carly and Dan’s Wedding

Carly and Dan celebrated their wedding with lots of family and friends at the beautiful Armour House on the Lake Forest Academy campus. Everyone was so much fun, and this location is amazing for a wedding. Many thanks to my awesome second shooter, Laura Meyer.

Beautiful dress!

Love this view Laura captured as Carly and her parents descended the stairs.

There was lots of laughter during the ceremony

Gorgeous light!

An adorable moment during their first dance
