Many many weeks ago I went to a party at my friend Tony’s house and played around a bit with my camera.

Jasper and Cleo

I am pleased to introduce everyone to the newest members of my household: Jasper and Cleo! I adopted these two sweet 11 year old kitties from the Anti-Cruelty Society in downtown Chicago two weeks ago, and they’ve adapted quite well to my house. They had become such good friends at the shelter that the staff determined one would not be adopted without the other. Perfect for me, as I was looking for 2 cats to adopt at once. They’re super friendly and are both lap cats (though Jasper is rather large to fit on my lap – he often falls off). Now if only I could cure Jasper of his obsession with eating toilet paper…

Janna’s cats are former foster animals of my mom’s; I had met them originally at home soon after Mango and her siblings were born. These two are adorable, and very sweet.

Happy 2008 Everyone!!
I’ll be kicking off the new year with some lovely cat photos. On my way to Maine for Christmas I stopped in Boston to visit my good friends Jen and Nik and their fabulous kitties.

I had another great trip to Maine last weekend, and as usual most of the photographs I shot at mom and dad’s house were of the animals 🙂
