Maine Dogs at Thanksgiving

My family’s gatherings are always fun and full of animals. This particular Thanksgiving there were seven dogs and ten humans, so you can imagine the noise level when all were together. This is actually a rather overdue post, for these are from Thanksgiving 2011.

It seems no matter their sizes, many dogs still consider themselves lap dogs

I love getting a portrait of all dogs in attendance. From left to right: Lucy, Marggie, Baxter, Cooper, Iszy, Tanner, and Cassie.

I had seven dog wranglers assisting me for this shot. The video at the end of this post showcases the entire turn of events. I decided to try the same things as the previous year, which was to have all humans hold the dogs in place, then all at once the humans would run out the photo, hopefully leaving the dogs in place for a split second while I capture the portrait. The first time I tried this I thought it might actually work. This time I did it just for amusement factor.
