Chicago Wedding of Charlyn and Joe

I was thrilled to spend a beautiful (although super hot) day with Charlyn and Joe in Chicago last month celebrating their marriage.

Such adorable boxes for the rings. These were passed through all the guests at the start of the ceremony so that each person could say a blessing for the couple.

We lucked out with a beautiful day, so everyone headed to Humboldt Park for portraits. I love Joe’s expression seeing Charlyn for the first time! So cute.

The top decoration is in honor of their dog, Nena. Also, these mini cupcakes were amazing! I think I managed to only eat three.

This one was great –beautiful bride, sweet groom, her makeup was perfect! Also, I grew up in Chicago and did marketing for a bilingual newspaper on North Ave, just a few blocks west of the north entrance to Humboldt Park –used to go out of my way to drive thru it. Thanks for the memories.

    What a lovely couple.

  3. OMG…SQUEEEEEEEE….I’m just so freakin’ happy. I love the photos.

  4. These are lovely. It takes true talent to create spontaneous-looking professional shots.

  5. Perfect wedding pics! Hard to pic a favorite — the look on her sister’s face? Or her hubbie-to-be’s? Or maybe the fantastic group shot on the park bench, where these folks look as though they’re solidly in the new couple’s corner, for life. Lovely!
